Who we are

Wasilo is run by OBELIX Agency. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Wasilo or visit a page on it, and what we do with it.

Account holders

We keep your name, email and password (hashed so it cannot be reversed), your page content and the images you upload. If you sign up from a "Made with wasilo" link on someone's page, we record that and which page you came from. We only send necessary emails: email verification, password resets, renewal reminders and updates on your payment requests.

Payments

You pay by mobile wallet or InstaPay transfer; we never ask for, see or store a card. For each payment request we keep the plan, amount, method, reference, the number you transferred from, your optional note and a screenshot of the transfer. The screenshot is stored privately, seen only by our team to confirm the payment, and deleted 90 days after the request is reviewed. Plans are activated within 24 hours. We keep the plan, amount, status and reference of each payment for invoices.

Visitors to public pages

When someone views a page or taps a link on it, we record: the page and link, the time, the referring site (domain only), the device type (mobile, desktop or tablet) and the country when the network provides it. IP addresses are never stored; we keep a one-way hash instead (sha256 of the IP with a secret key). These detailed records are deleted after 30 days; only daily totals are kept. Public pages set no cookies.

Cookies

The Wasilo site and dashboard use only a session cookie, a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection cookie and, if you tick it when signing in, a remember-me cookie. They are used for signing in and remembering your language. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Services we use

Google Safe Browsing, where available, to check links that page owners add (only the link itself is sent). Google Fonts for typefaces, so your browser connects to Google's servers when it loads a page.

Reports

If you report a page, we keep the reason, the details you wrote, your email if you chose to give it, and a hash of your IP instead of the address itself, to stop repeated reports.

Clients managed by OBELIX

If your page is managed by OBELIX Agency, agency staff can sign in to your account and edit it, and everything they do is recorded in an audit log.

Your rights

You can change your details or delete your account from settings. To have your pages and all your data deleted, or to get a copy, contact us through obelixagency.com. We process your personal data in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and you have the right to access, correct and request deletion of your data.
